Three years ago in El Gouna, something magical happened in a home kitchen. Khaled Samir, a Mechatronics engineer who had spent years in the tech industry, discovered his true calling through the simple act of baking bread. What started as weekend experimentation with flour and water quickly became an obsession with the art of fermentation and the perfect rise.

Recognizing that passion needed proper technique, Khaled made a bold decision—he left his engineering career behind and sought training at a prestigious 5-star hotel. There, under the guidance of master bakers, he learned the precision and discipline that separate good bread from extraordinary bread. After completing his training, he worked in the hotel's professional kitchen, honing his craft and understanding what it truly means to bake at the highest level.

From those early days of home baking in Gouna to the professional kitchens where he mastered his trade, Khaled's journey has always been driven by one simple truth: great bread has the power to transform any meal. Today, That Bakery represents the culmination of that journey—a place where engineering precision meets artisan passion, where every croissant and focaccia sandwich is crafted with the same dedication that first sparked in a home kitchen by the Red Sea.
